Jaime Miller, director of the Office of Academic Support, thinks it could still be more frequently utilized because the average rate of participation is 32 percent.
“It’s just fun to meet new people especially because most of the people here are either Korean or have an interest in Korea,” said Catherine Johnson, sophomore in computer science.
The municipal election on Aug. 28 yielded three definitive winners, including one that ran unopposed. The remaining candidates for mayor, wards 2, 4, 5 and 6 took back to the campaign trail for another 6 weeks for the runoff election Oct. 9.
Anders has served six years on Auburn's City Council, spending his last term as mayor pro tem under 20-year Mayor Bill Ham, who announced earlier this year he wouldn't seek re-election.

Crawford Rummel, senator for the College of Business, presented an amendment to a bill that increased the Organization Fund by $25,000, for a total of $125,000.
Auburn Campus Safety and Security tweeted Monday that it does not expect any changes to class schedules.
“Everyone who competed is so genuine and deserving,” Bradford said. “I’m so ready to represent Auburn and to get out there and do things for Auburn’s campus.”

With a growing population, the department plans to expand Auburn’s water supply in the upcoming years.

The 2018 Southeastern Collegiate Cycling Conference championship mountain bike race will be held this weekend in Chewacla State Park.
“In these times, we got to come together instead of come apart, and as an artist, I believe in the power of art for positive transformation,” Hill said.
“You get to see that cops aren’t all bad,” Craft said. “They’re actually pretty cool. It was really awesome. I loved it.”
On German Unity Day, Kaffee und Kuchen was held in memory of professor Thomas Nadar, who taught in Auburn University’s German department for almost 30 years and helped many students win Fulbright Scholarships to study abroad.
