Auburn is on the road again headed to Razorback Stadium. We've broken down both teams' players to watch and keys to victory for the matchup.
“You’ve gotta be able to cover and challenge the wide receivers," Harsin said. "Guys will make plays, there’s times where you know there’s a spectacular catch. But if it's contested and you’re in a position, that’s the best we can do from a defensive standpoint.“
“I don’t feel like there’s a sense of urgency because I know once I get the ball in my hands I know that I’m gonna do something with it each opportunity like I said," said Shaun Shivers.

“Some of those younger players, if they keep stepping up and they keep putting themselves in a position where they can compete, and we feel like they’re the best players to go out there and play we’re gonna get the chance to go out there and do that," said head coach Bryan Harsin.
“We put great defense together in spurts so if we’re able to do that for a full four quarters, I think we would have no issue going in there and executing our plan," said Derick Hall.
The Tigers' offensive line is rebuilding after injuries in the 2020 season. Keiondre Jones says coaches have "been harping on it all season so now it’s time to take ownership of that as players and get that done.”
Jake Gonzalez joins the show as the Tigers fall to the Dawgs, volleyball comes up short against the Razorbacks and soccer breaks out two more SEC wins.
"They have one of the best defenses that I've faced and the challenge is definitely there," Nix said. "But I think we're willing to accept it, play clean, compete until the final seconds, and see how the game goes from there."
Following Auburn's loss to Georgia, Bryan Harsin's usual Monday press conference was a highlight of the Tigers' efforts to correct their mistakes before they head to Fayetteville to take on the Arkansas Razorbacks.

Auburn was held to a season-low 316 total yards of offense in a 34-10 loss to its rival, Georgia. “We felt like we could go out there and play better football and put ourselves in a better position to win this game, and that didn’t happen," Harsin said.

If Auburn’s receivers don’t start playing some real football, the Tigers are gonna have a hard time beating Georgia on Saturday, or any other Southeastern Conference team for that matter.
In a ranked showdown, the Georgia Bulldogs and its top ranked defense will visit Auburn this Saturday. The Deep South’s Oldest Rivalry has seen 125 meetings in its history, this will be only the 24th one where both teams are ranked in the Top 25.
